Administrative building of the Ministry of Investment and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones
The building cost about LE 46 million of which LE 37 million for buildings and installations and LE 9 million for facilities and infrastructure, apart from the land allocated by the state.
- The building located in Salah Salem streets, was established by and as a premises for GAFI. The land was allocated in 2000 during the term of the Prime Minister, Dr. Atef Ebeid. The construction was assigned to the Arab Contractors in 2001, before the development of the Ministry of Investment.
- The building was completely finished on 1st November 2004 and was formally inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nazif on 12th April 2005. The building includes the Ministry of Investment, GAFI and the one-stop shop.
- The ministry occupies three stories in the five-storey building, in addition to the GAFI's administrative premises and the one-stop shop. It can accommodate 1,300 persons and has a four-hundred person conference room.
- Visitors of GAFI are estimated at 1,000 to 1,200 daily.
- Workers are estimated at 350 persons.

The building is a civilized surface reflecting the government's interest in the window service of local and foreign investment and investors.
