The Centre in Brief

  • The centre was established by the Prime Ministerial decree 168/1978.
  • The Presidential decree 315/1997 was issued to organise the Ministry of Public Sector affiliating the centre to it.
  • The Presidential decree 231/2004 was issued to organise the Ministry of Investment affiliating the centre to it.
  • The centre aims at creating an integrated public sector information system (public sector, public business sector, economic and service organisations, law 159/1981 companies, law 203/1989 amended by law 8 /1997, law 95/1995 units and law 148/2001 companies) and developing regular reports on results of business sector units to economise decision making, serve local entities and investors, disseminate and market information systems and provide training in modern technological applications. The centre is actively participating in achieving the ministry’s mandates.
