Data and Documents Required to be Registered as a Mortgage Appraiser

A request for registration on the appropriate form and attaching the following documents:

Educational degree/certificate

  • Proof of the applicant experience in the field of Mortgage/Real Estate Appraisal, for a period not less than five years for the PHD holder and not less than ten years for the Masters Degree holder not less than fifteen years for the Bachelor Degree holder and not less than twenty years for Diplomas or equivalent Degree holder.

  • Applicant should provide a certificate issued by his union showing his registry # and certifying that there are no sentences issued against him, unless such sentences are revoked.

  • In case the applicant is a government employee, university or institute professor or employed at any of the public sector entities, he should provide a certificate stating his employer's acceptance to practice mortgage appraisal.

  • Certificate of criminal records.

  • Certificate stating that no bankruptcy ruling was issued on his behalf.

  • Copy of the tax card.

  • Curriculum Vitae "CV" of the applicant.

  • Passing the training program designed by the Mortgage Finance Authority.

  • Signing an affidavit stating his full compliance with the terms and conditions of the Mortgage Law # 148 for the year 2001 and its Executive Regulations and all other related rulings decided by the Mortgage Finance Authority while practicing mortgage appraisal in the market.
