Data and Documents Required to be Registered as a Mortgage Legal Agent

A request for registration on the appropriate form and attaching the following documents:

  • Educational degree/certificate (Law degree or Bachelor Degree of Faculty of Commerce, Accounting Section).

  • Proof of the applicant experience in the field of Mortgage/Real Estate property foreclosure, for a period not less than five years for the PHD holder and not less than ten years for the Masters Degree & Post Graduate applicants.

  • Applicant should provide a certificate issued by his union showing his registry # and certifying that there are no sentences issued against him, unless such sentences are revoked.

  • In case the applicant is an employee, he should provide his employer acceptance for him to practice property legal foreclosures without any contradicting any laws, rules or ministerial regulations in place.

  • Certificate of criminal records.

  • Certificate stating that no bankruptcy ruling was issued on his behalf.

  • Copy of the tax card.

  • Curriculum Vitae "CV" of the applicant.

  • Passing the training program designed by the Mortgage Finance Authority.

  • Signing an affidavit stating his full compliance with the terms and conditions of the Mortgage Law # 148 for the year 2001 and its Executive Regulations and all other related rulings decided by the Mortgage Finance Authority while practicing mortgage property foreclosure.
