Celebrating its golden jubilee, the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences honored Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, the Minister of Investment and professor of financial economics at the faculty.

Dr. Mohieldin received a certificate of honor and recognition for his effort and excellence.

The faculty also honored a large number of its excellent graduates for their tangible efforts to enrich the political and economic life in Egypt and the world.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Mohieldin said: "Not only does the faculty produce scholars and thinkers, but also gives a unique opportunity for dialogue, debate and disagreement. It managed to maintain a unique relationship between students and professors, students of different departments, all Egyptians, as well as whoever comes to Egypt."

"The Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences will always be an example of respecting the values of science, ethics of disagreement and fundamentals of the Egyptian nationalism," Dr. Mohieldin added.
