This survey collects transactions (flows) and positions (stock) data on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Egypt, and the reported data are used for statistical purposes only. Your information is treated as confidential when submitted.

Data are used to compile Egypt’s balance of payments and international investment position (IIP), and a comprehensive range of FDI statistics, which are used to inform policy making by the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt. FDI, balance of payments and IIP data are also used by regional and international organizations, private sector and academia for a number of purposes, including international economic negotiations, business planning and institutional research.
